Doing Our Part To Prevent Covid-19

To Our Valued Magnolia Animal Dentistry Clients,

At Magnolia Animal Dentistry we take your personal health and safety seriously. As a veterinary health care facility, universal precautions are always in place in our office. These protocols are consistent with recommended guidelines put forth by the CDC to prevent against transmission of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the disinfectants we already use are effective at killing COVID-19. We have instituted more rigorous disinfectant procedures for the foreseeable future, and our staff are washing their hands even more regularly and between every client/patient interaction.

As an additional precaution, we are asking clients to stay home and reschedule their appointment if they show any symptoms that are consistent with COVID-19 (see below) until their symptoms resolve. We take the safety of our clients and team members very seriously and want to take every precaution to minimize exposure. If a client comes to their appointment displaying symptoms of fever and cough, they will be rescheduled.

Symptoms of COVID-19

  • Fever

  • Fatigue

  • Body Aches

  • Coughing

  • Shortness of Breath

If you are NOT sick, please DO come to your appointments. 😊 We will continue to actively disinfect each exam room (after every appointment) and the waiting area to ensure a safe space for you. To do our part to help public health we are trying to assist in the “social distancing” recommended by the CDC, and reduce the number of clients in the reception area as much as possible. We are asking our clients to call from their car when they arrive and then wait in their car while we get their room ready, then our friendly receptionists will call you to come right into the room and avoid clustering in the reception area.

If you are experiencing symptoms consistent with seasonal allergies, such as those listed below, we will continue to serve you during your reserved appointment time. If you are concerned about the symptoms you are showing, please contact our office and we can help you determine what is best.

Symptoms of Cold or Allergies

  • Itchy Eyes

  • Stuffy nose

  • Sneezing

For further information on COVID-19, the Washington State Department of Health has established a call center to provide information about what is happening in the state, how the virus is spread, and what to do if you are experiencing symptoms.

The best course of action to stay healthy is to get enough sleep, wash hands for at least 20 seconds, keep hands away from face and mouth, and cough into elbows, not hands.

If you have any questions, please call us at (360) 859-3790 (Vancouver location) or (503) 621-9107 (Beaverton location). We are here for you and your wonderful pets.

Sincerely,
Magnolia Animal Dentistry
